our product and process technology to the market place. It is our
policy to protect our innovations from misuse and therefore offer
modest license fees to permit technology sharing. We have an existing
and emerging portfolio of application and process patents that are
positively impacting society. For example, many water municipalities
and consulting engineers have discovered our technology for the
disinfection of drinking water from cryptosporidium and giardia by
continuous broadband UV light with either low or medium pressure
lamps. Adoption of this innovation is allowing cost effective
treatment of drinking water and significant cost avoidance from
utilizing other technologies such as ozone or membrane
filtration.
