Calgon Carbon Corporation's Titan odor control system
represents a break from conventional activated carbon
adsorber design, resulting in a system that is
significantly smaller and more cost effective
than traditional deep bed adsorber designs.
Titan's revolutionary airflow design allows the system
to process odorous air at a much faster velocity than
ordinary deep bed systems.As the following table will
illustrate, this allows the Titan to be one-half to two-thirds
the footprint and 67% to 75% of the height of the
equivalent deep bed system, while as requiring only 67% of
the carbon. In addition, the largest standard single vessel
deep bed design, the 12' diameter dual bed, can only treat
up to 17,000 cfm. In contrast, the largest single Titan vessel,
the T130-52000, can treat three times that amount, 52,000
cfm in a vessel only slightly larger than the 12' dual bed!
